Local Expertise You Can Rely On
Meet the Owner
I’m Ayrton and i've been a bricklayer for over 16 years, running jobs from domestic housing and retirement homes to high-rise towers in Sydney. These days, I’ve turned my focus to pools — I’m Cert IV qualified, which means I can handle everything from your backyard pool right up to large leisure centres.
Outside of work, I’m a family man with a wife and two kids — one boy and one girl. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me surfing, golfing, or out mountain biking.
I look forward to meeting you in-store!
Our Services:
We’ve got a solid team of experienced techs, with guys ranging from 8 years in the industry down to 1 year. Everyone brings something different to the table, and we all back each other up.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Easy answer:
Cloudy water usually means your pool water is out of balance, your filter needs attention, or there isn’t enough sanitiser working properly.
Simple steps:
Bring a water sample into Poolwerx for testing.
Check your filter is running long enough each day.
Clean or backwash your filter if needed.
Follow the recommended treatment plan.
Poolwerx message:
Know exactly what your pool needs.

Easy answer:
Green water is usually caused by algae. It can happen when chlorine levels drop, water balance is off, or the pool has not been circulating properly.
Follow these steps:
Get in contact with us today so we can help guide you through the process to bringing your pool back to good health.
-
Easy answer:
For a healthier pool, test your water regularly, especially during warmer months, after heavy rain, or when the pool is being used more often.
Simple steps:
Test at home weekly.
Bring a sample into Poolwerx for a more complete test monthly.
Test again after storms, parties or heatwaves.
Keep a simple maintenance routine.
Poolwerx message:

-
Easy answer:
Your pump needs to run long enough to circulate and filter the water properly. The right time depends on your pool size, equipment and season.
Simple steps:
Check your current timer settings.
Run longer during summer or heavy use periods, run for less during winter periods.
Clean baskets and check water flow.
Ask Poolwerx to check your equipment and recommend the right schedule.
Poolwerx message:
Keep your pool equipment running at its best.
-
Easy answer:
Not always. Clear water is not always healthy water. The goal is the right balance, not just more chemicals.
Simple steps:
Test before adding anything.
Follow the exact dosage recommended.
Avoid guessing or doubling up.
Store chemicals safely and separately.
Poolwerx message:
The right chemicals, not more chemicals.
-
Easy answer:
Rain can dilute your pool chemicals, change the water balance and bring dirt or debris into the pool.
Simple steps:
Remove leaves and debris.
Empty skimmer and pump baskets.
Check the water level.
Get the water tested before swimming again.
Poolwerx message:
After rain, a quick check can save a bigger clean-up later.
-
Easy answer:
A strong chlorine smell does not always mean there is too much chlorine. It can mean the chlorine is working hard against contaminants and the water needs balancing.
Simple steps:
Avoid swimming until the water is checked.
Bring a water sample into Poolwerx.
Follow the recommended treatment.
Keep up regular testing and filtration.
Poolwerx message:
Healthy water should feel fresh and inviting.
-
Easy answer:
Your filter may need cleaning if water flow is weak, the pool is cloudy, the pressure gauge is high, or the pool cleaner is not moving properly.
Simple steps:
Check the pressure gauge.
Look for weak return flow.
Clean or backwash the filter as recommended.
Book a service if you are unsure.
