Committed to keeping you safe

At Poolwerx the safety and wellbeing of our clients and team members is a priority. That’s why we have increased our already stringent hygiene standards both in our retail stores and during pool services. Below is what you can expect from Poolwerx as we work to stop the spread of Coronavirus.

IN-STORE

You’ll notice a few things in-store at your local Poolwerx, and not just our new service options.

NEW SIGNAGE

At entry, we have added signage for our new guidelines on hygiene and social distancing. Remember if you’re not feeling well, please stay at home and give us a call to make alternative arrangements.

SOCIAL DISTANCING MARKERS

Across our network you’ll see social distancing markers placed around the store. When at the register, make sure you leave 1.5m between you and your neighbour.

IN-STORE SANITISATION

In store we are taking further measures to ensure all surfaces and products are sanitised. This includes cleaning the EFTPOS after every use, wiping shelves and counter, cleaning product displays, door handles and of course, our staff are regularly washing hands.

IN-STORE SANITISATION

We understand that not everyone wants to come in-store, so we’ve introduced Storefront Water Testing! Simply drop your water test sample bottle at the designated area in our stores, or drive up and contact the store for Park and Test*. We’ll then process the results in-store and deliver the required chemicals directly to the boot of your car. This service option is completely contact-free and at no additional cost.

*Please note this service may not be available in all stores.

ON-SITE SERVICING

Out in the field, you’ll notice our technicians taking extra precautions to ensure a contact-free service for your pool.

SANITISATION

We understand the importance of keeping your home sanitised and that’s why we’ve increased our sanitisation measures for on-site pool servicing.

These include:

  • Cleaning entry points (eg. gate latches) upon entry and exit

  • Bringing our own equipment onsite to avoid cross contamination

  • Cleaning any items in contact, such as skimmer baskets.

As government advice changes, we will continue to follow guidelines and change our processes in accordance with these. Ensuring healthy pools and the safety of our clients and team members is our priority, so please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
