Christmas Eve at 6.00am we discovered that the pool pump had given up at our Norman Park complex (Wattle Hill). Knowing Paul was an early riser, I rang him at 6.30am and advised him that the pump was no longer working, Paul, being the helpful & honest guy that he is, advised he would loan us a pump over the Christmas break so we could send ours away for repairs.
The big thing here is that he was more concerned that we would possibly have to shut the pool down than trying to sell us a brand new one. That tells me a lot – that he isn’t about the $$$. I said to him don’t worry about a loan pump, supply us with a new one. At 8.15am that morning he personally brought one out and installed it….need I say anymore ???
