We’re seeking a Senior Learning & Development Advisor to join our People & Culture team, reporting to the Global Chief People Officer.
This is a key leadership role responsible for translating our people and capability strategy into scalable, high-impact learning solutions across the Poolwerx network. You will own the end-to-end design, governance and delivery of learning initiatives, ensuring they are commercially relevant, operationally embedded and consistently executed across our Support Centre, Franchise Partners and their teams.
You’ll act as the primary L&D subject matter leader, partnering with senior stakeholders to uplift capability, performance and compliance at scale.
What you’ll achieve
As a Senior L&D Advisor, you’ll play a critical role in shaping capability across the business:
Lead Learning Strategy Execution
Translate business and people strategy into impactful learning programs that drive capability, performance and growth across the network.
Design & Deliver Scalable Learning Solutions
Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of blended learning programs (in-person, virtual and digital), ensuring consistency, quality and commercial relevance.
Own Capability Uplift & Frameworks
Conduct training needs analysis, diagnose capability gaps and implement structured learning frameworks across sales, leadership, franchise and PSC development.
Drive Major Learning Initiatives
Lead the learning components of key programs and events including Pool School, Development Season and the annual Convention, ensuring high-quality delivery and measurable outcomes.
Govern Learning Systems & Standards
Own the Learning Management System (Training Academy), training calendar, content governance and compliance requirements, ensuring accuracy, accessibility and continuous improvement.
Deliver Insights & Continuous Improvement
Provide reporting, metrics and insights to stakeholders, using data to enhance learning effectiveness and drive ongoing improvement.
Partner & Influence at Senior Level
Collaborate with senior leaders, Franchise Partners, operations teams and external providers to deliver aligned, high-impact learning solutions.
What You’ll Bring
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or relevant tertiary qualification (desirable)
Minimum 4+ years’ experience in a similar L&D or capability role
Proven experience in end-to-end program design, delivery and governance
Strong experience in training needs analysis and capability frameworks
Demonstrated experience managing LMS platforms and digital learning content
Experience coordinating large-scale training programs and events
Excellent facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
Strong project management, organisational and reporting capabilities
Ability to influence, partner and build relationships across all levels of the business
Experience in franchising, retail, sales or service environments (desirable)
