What you'll be doing
In this senior retail role, you’ll help run the day-to-day operations based at our flagship Albany Creek store, while progressively building the capability to support and oversee our wider multi-site operation including Stafford and Samford.
Your focus will be on execution, consistency and people — making sure the retail engine runs smoothly and standards stay high.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the end-to-end retail operation, including sales performance, visual merchandising, inventory control and day-to-day standards i.e., water testing and advice for chemical and equipment solutions, stock control and merchandising, store opening and cash handling.
Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, coaching and ongoing development of the retail team.
Improving systems and processes to lift consistency, efficiency and performance across stores.
Supporting marketing and sales initiatives, with a strong focus on customer experience and conversion.
Leading by example on the floor in a fast-paced retail environment, setting the tone for accountability and teamwork.
Contributing to strategic initiatives that support the continued growth of the retail business.
Building strong, long-term relationships with customers who rely on us for their pool and spa needs.
This role suits a motivated, hands-on leader who enjoys problem-solving, leads with empathy, and takes pride in running a tight retail operation.
Flexibility to work some weekends during the peak summer season is required.

What's we're after
Strong retail experience, ideally in store management or senior retail roles.
Pool industry experience is an advantage, but not essential.
Natural leadership ability with a genuine focus on building and supporting teams.
The ability to stay composed and think clearly in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
A demonstrated ability to meet and contribute to sales targets.
High motivation, a positive attitude, and the confidence to support and drive change.
Clear communication skills and a strong customer service mindset.
