Poolwerx Classic Beef Sliders

MAKES 8 | 45 minutes

Ingredients

  • 500g lean beef mince
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 free range egg
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp feta cheese, crumbled
  • salt & pepper
  • olive oil

To Serve

  • 8 slider buns, halved
  • lettuce
  • tomato, sliced
  • red onion, sliced
  • mustard
  • tomato sauce
  • mini pickles
  • toothpicks

In a medium bowl, add mince, onion, egg, parsley, salt and pepper and mix well with hands until combined well. Add feta to the bowl and gently mix through. Shape the mince into 8 small patties. Add a little olive oil to the BBQ and cook each patty until brown and cooked through.

To serve, arrange lettuce on the base of the slider buns and top with a burger patty, tomato slice and onion. Add the bun top, followed by a pickle and secure with a toothpick. Serve alongside tomato sauce and mustard. These sliders are a great little BBQ starter or perfect for the kids!
